Our co-founder John has always had a passion for cooking and serving others. As for me (Shelly), I’ve always dreamed of creating a welcoming space for people to gather. When we had our property in South Tulsa, our weekends were filled with celebrations—birthdays, engagements, weddings—you name it, we hosted it for our friends. We absolutely loved it.

That season came to an end in 2014 when we moved to Oklahoma City. It was hard to leave behind those cherished gatherings, but we trusted God and took a break from hosting. From 2014 to 2022, we focused on our cable company, J&S Cable, which flourished into a successful and healthy business. In 2022, we decided to sell J&S Cable, along with our home in OKC, and moved to our cozy place on the lake.

Living at Grand Lake, we felt a deep desire to contribute to our new community. We took our time, sought wise counsel, and listened to the needs around us. People frequently asked where they could find a good deli sandwich, a great brunch spot, or a perfect cup of coffee. So, we thought, why not us? Why couldn’t we bring these things to our beloved South Grand Lake community?

In January 2024, we found the perfect location to make our vision a reality. Every detail of Beau’s Market & Deli has been thoughtfully planned with our community in mind. We are incredibly passionate about creating a space where everyone feels welcome and can enjoy fresh, delicious food.
